Ingredients :
- 250g butter, softened
- 350g caster sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 75g cocoa powder
- 100g self-raising flour
- 100g plain chocolate
- 50g chocolate chips
Method
Pre-heat the oven to 170C Fan
Line a 20cm baking tin with baking paper.
Gently melt the butter chocolate in a bowl. Stir until melted.
Beat eggs and sugar
Add in the chocolate butter mixture
Stir in sifted cocoa powder and flour
Mix in the chocolate chips and Pour the brownie batter into the prepared tin.
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top of the brownie is just firm but there is still a gentle wobble in the middle.
Take out of the oven and leave to cool in the tin. Cut the brownies into 5cm/2in squares when only just warm, or completely cool.
