Beetroot Sambar

Ingredients :



  • 1/2 cup of toordal(boiled)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic crushed
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • One teaspoon Mustard seeds seeds
  • 2 Chopped beetroot
  • 2 spoon Sambar powder
  • small size tamarind
  • 1 spoon of sauf
  • 1 Spoon of Hing
  • coriander  leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil 

Method :




Add Onion, Tomatoes, Salt, Tamarind and Sambar powder. cook well for 15 min(up to 1 Whistle)




Once the pressure is released, crush garlic and sauf.
In a oil, add mustard seeds,hing, crushed items and fresh coriander leaves.

Serve Hot with Rice and ghee
